We sometimes go through Aspley & we love stopping off for a meal there. The food is superb, to us definately the best in the Brisbane area, the service is great. We highly recommend San san Aisan.

I remember moving to the area and searching for a great Chinese restaurant, we all need some crispy battered pork with sweet and sour on the side don’t we! I found the best restaurant that gave me special fried rice, beef and black bean and all the favourites that we want when ordering.
That restaurant shut down due to covid so I ordered from Sun Sun Aspley.
What a disgrace. The sweet and sour pork was floating in sauce and soggy. Do not order this. The chow Mein was dry and flavourless. Do not order this. The beef and black bean was alright except for nly $20 bucks I want tasty with a hint of wow and with less “I cooked this in my own kitchen”
I wanted to enjoy the food I ordered. I did not want to waste my time spending 10 minutes having to write this review but felt it was my duty to warn anyone reading these. DO NOT ORDER.

Approximate cost: $60

Standard Chinese restaurant with standard menus. It's not wow but ok for the days you just don't want to cook. Like they often have tables so no booking is ok. Service is fast, as most Chinese restaurants.

We had a delightful meal yum-cha banquet with friends at Sun Sun Restaurant. We all shared four meals of beef in black bean, pork in sweet & sour, honey chicken and special fried rice. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delightful with deep fried ice cream and topped off with soft drink. What a wonderful evening.

I get take out with my family of four. It is about once a year because they are a little pricey but the quality WOW really great. The service is generally fast as long as you don't get there in a rush hour. I love their sweet and sour pork and their honey chicken it is amazing. They do the basics like fried rice and that sort of stuff really well too.

Approximate cost: $20.00

Hubby loves this place, I think it's ok but a bit pricy for a family of four!!! The prawn meals are always nice but lacking in a little flavour. Portions are a good size. Staff are very friendly which is a nice touch. The restaurant part if usually quite busy, so that must be a good sign :-)

Approximate cost: $16

A quaint old fashioned restaurant much in the style of the 60's and 70's. Interesting new menu items like crispy duck pancakes bring it up to date. Generous servings and good traditional Aussie Chinese!

By far one of the best Chinese Restaurants we have experienced on the North side. Home delivery is prompt & good incentives for regular customers. Definitely recommend.

I think this place is the best chinese restaurant/takeout in Aspley - I've tried loads around here in my attempt to get a great takeout. I absolutely love the salt and pepper prawns - ask for extra extra extra chilli - and they do! Good friendly staff and efficient service - no waiting around.

Approximate cost: $14.00

The service was fine, as was the waiting time for my meal. The cuisine was fairly average - salty and lacking flavour. The fried rice was particularly bland and the spring rolls were very small. My search for a above average Chinese restaurant in Brisbane continues.

Approximate cost: $12.00
