This is a good place to hang out for a few beers and a bar meal. Well priced selection of bar meals that go really well with the views. I love sitting here and just taking it all in.

The Story Bridge Hotel is always a good place to go for a beer and a feed. They have a great range of little plates and do a pretty decent steak also. They have a good range of different bar areas, with a decent TAB and a few outside areas to soak up the ambience. It usually draws a pretty big crowd on the weekend and especially for days like Australia Day and ANZAC Day. If you feel like getting a little bit out of the city for a few drinks with friends it is a great place to go.

Approximate cost: $25

This place is cool. Went there for lunch with friends. We sat out in the sun, had fishermans basket and a beer and soaked it all in. We went mid-week so it wasn't really busy but can really imagine it buzzing at night

The Story Bridge hotel has consistenly been a great venue. With a range of meeting areas and sections you almost have a different experience every time you go there. I meet with a group of people a few weeks ago and the venue was brilliant. We could all talk and enjoy ourselves without being drowned out by loud music. The food was reasonably priced and quickly delivered. I have been for meals in the restaurant in the past and found the food always to be of high quality and well priced. Overall a great place

I have eaten at the story bridge hotel twice in the last fortnight and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the food was. I had a Calzone which they made without cheese or their sauce which contains cheese as I am a vegan and the flavours were fantastic and the Calzone certainly wasn't dry as the staff thought it might be without the usual ingredients used. I also had their fries which were nice, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside as good fries should be - both of these items came to under $20. My partner had the salt & pepper calamari on both occassions as he was so impressed with it. The menu has a good variety of dishes and I will definately be eating there again

What a location!!!! Nestled directly under the Story bridge is a marvel in itself. In the lounge bar the gigantic pylons of the bridge demonstrate a feeling of power and might that forms part of the decor of the room. The Shelter is a great place to bring the whole family for a meal or a snack and soak up the Queensland sun. The meals are just a tad expensive but when holidaying with the family the atmosphere and the ambience of this awesome structure directly above is just a sight to behold. We usually stay at the Kangaroo Point Holiday Apartments when holidaying in Queensland and the hotel is a mere 2 km walk from the apartments. The meals as I said before are just a tad expensive but the quality and quantity more than make up for the cost and not to mention the surroundings and the situation. Totally awe inspiring.

Good iconic pub in a great location under the Story bridge. Great steaks, although a little expensive for pub prices. Always plenty of staff, never a long wait for a beer.

Approximate cost: $30

A Brisbane icon - always great for a night out! Has several different bars, something to suit everyone. Gets packed at times! Usual drink prices. Good quality food.

Great place for a meal or a drink or two (or three). Good entertainment on the weekends. Plenty of big sports screens to watch. Dance floor for those who are interested. Drink prices comparable to anywhere else in the city.

I have been here both casually with friends and for a work function. The casual eating and drinking area downstairs was much better than the cramped function space upstairs.

I've thought about doing a function here before so it's useful to know it can feel cramped.
