We just came back from lunch here, some school friends and I. We all had the Steak specials... the T-bone lunch special was $13 with chips and salad. I did ask for mine medium, but it came out some parts were medium, but alot of the steak was well done. I ate it anyway, as I was starving. The T-bone was was quite a thin piece of meat, not much flavour and needed seasoning. My friend's steak was also well done whilst my other friend ordered the DIY plate where she cooked her own steak, to her preference! They did have other lunch specials from $11 such as rump steak, fish, chicken tenderloins and pork chops. Those options might of been more ideal.

Decor was nice, tables kept clean and the salad bar where you help yourself was nothing fancy, the dressings were quite lack lustre, needed more punch. I tried the vinegarette, tasted like it was watered down.

The young girl who took our order was doing work experience but was polite and attentive. All in all , will not be returning. We were all left pretty hungry and feeling deflated at the food serving sizes to be honest.

We went there with my son and he loved his kids meal that arrived on a cold stone
We had chicken satay and beer battered fish and chicago baked fish
It was all really delicious and quite generous and the waitress was very nice, just too bad we had to wait so long for the good to arrive and i kept on hearing shoutings coming from the kitchen.

I tried this establishment for the first time earlier this year and got a homemade beef burger and chips for $13.
The serving size was good and the burger itself had lettuce, mayo, cheese, bacon, onion and tomato on it and was actually quite enjoyable.
The wait time for food to be cooked and served was satisfactory and I would be interested in trying what else is on the menu at a future date.

I am so sad that I have to give a bad review! We used to LOVE coming here but this last time was the end. We got the $11 rump steaks and they arrived way over done and mostly full of fat. We talked to the waiter about it and after speaking to his manager (we could hear her screaming at him when he told her) he said they could be remade. We just wanted to go someplace else. The manager came out and yelled at us, saying she "can't guarantee the temperature or tenderness. The steaks come from the supplier that way. If I make this for you again, I'm wasting 4 servings." She was rude, snotty, and non-apologetic. We paid for out drinks and left. The poor waiter told us that the manager "gets like that sometimes."

Slow waitors, food on menu keeps changing without notice i.e. products inside burger will change, keep making mistakes with orders, forgets items when ordering, food comes out cold usually. When they opened was much better but is getting worse in time :(

Food is not spectacular and the service is fairly average. The portions of food are pretty small and disappointing for what youre paying for.

Three course meal was very cheap at $35 with an interesting selection of desserts. The entrees look good enough to be the main itself so very much worth your money. New experience here in Sydney with the stonegrill concept
