Great views and this is what is nice about the place. Food is nothing special and given the price of meals I'd expect better. There's no way the food is 5/5 as some reviewers suggest. It also took 50 minutes to get our meals, however it was the weekend during the lunch time rush. Meal and a (non-alcoholic) drink cost about $35 pp (more on public holidays).

Yummy food. Beautiful place to visit and relax and look out at the views. I always love seeing the St Bernard puppy as we are walking in. Winter time is amazing to visit this place with the fireplace going.

The St Bernard Hotel is a lovely old place to visit, and if you are looking for somewhere to have a coffee or a meal after a ramble in the rainforest this is a nice place to head for, as it has a lovely atmosphere and the food is good. There's free parking, a waterfall and a duck pond in the grounds. The cost I thought was reasonable and the service is good.

Absolutely fabulous views and old world charm however the coffee was served luke-warm, price ok. The Bistro prices were over the top. 4 of us ordered a Ploughmans lunch and frankly it was pretty ordinary. The cold meats you could buy at any deli, one pickled onion, 2 stuffed olives, 2 lettuce leaves, a small amount of chuchtney and pate (pretty sure not made there), some slices of melon and a few strawberries and NO CHEESE! Pretty ordinary with lots of bread for $21.90.

Approximate cost: $35 +

The St Bernards hotel/restaurant is located in a great spot with amazing views. It is a warm and friendly looking restaurant, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. We had a great entrée of fresh bread and dips so we were definitely looking forward to our mains. My husband ordered lamb shanks, which although tender, had no flavour or seasoning. I ordered the ribs, they were tough, fatty and bony. Very disappointing. I didn't touch the salad as it looked very sad and not fresh. The cost of the meals is exorbitant for a pub-styled meal. Would go back for a coffee/drink, but would definitely not eat there again.

Approximate cost: $30.00

Really yummy and affordable meal. Great atmosphere, we were there in winter and they had the fire going - it was lovely and warm. We were there with a 12 month old and the staff accommodated the pram no problems, the only negative was that there were no baby change facilities and I was sent to a strange room upstairs full of old props to change my daughter!

Approximate cost: $25
