Right on Bridge rd tram route so easy to get there. Old style Pub with 2 lovely open fires on ground floor to keep you cosy. Friendly staff and keen to serve you. Meals were nicely presented and a good serving and hot and the chips delicious. Staff were attentive and filled up water glasses regularly. Could be busy at times , so a booking at night time would be a good idea.

Excellent food with a great atmosphere. You get restaurant quality food at pub prices. The atmosphere is friendly and drinks are also at pub prices - I would definitely recommend

Have been to the Spread Eagle a few times. Have had drinks there and attended a couple of functions. Downstairs was what a pub should be. Upstairs funtion area was well set up. The canape menu choices was exstensive. Only problem is that the bar area is small upstairs so there is a wait for service but its not too long

Had a great Parma here, the staff are friendly and its a great bar to have a drink at definatly recommend

The Spread Eagle is a great hotel. The atmosphere is good, great wine selection and the food is absolutely beautiful. They have various nights with $12 parma on Sundays & Steak night on Wednesdays. They have live entertainment on the weekends and also a trivia afternoon on Sunday afternoon from 3pm. The pub has great atmosphere and even has a function room that can be hired.
