Really beautiful Chinese food from here. It is expensive and definitely a special occasion type of a place, not for the every day. Service is fantastic

Spice Temple is for people who like chinese food, but are bored of/do not find value in eating traditional chinese food at a restaurant.
It is a really good top quality restaurant experience, as you would expect of a Neil Perry venture.
For your $$$, you will get a first class offer of creative and seasonal dishes, made from the best ingredients, inspired by chinese traditions and chinese herbs/spices.
Instead of black bean beef or mud crab on long life noodles, you can expect something along the lines of Tea smoked duck breast with pickled cabbage and Chinese mustard, Stir fried prawns with salted duck egg and four way chillies; Twice cooked pork belly with leeks and Sichuan black bean
For dessert, we had Caramel chocolate and peanut parfait and Steam three milk cake with pomegranate and pistachios.
Had a great experience. Definitely worth it for a special celebration/other occasion.

I can see why they received 2 michelin hats. The entire experience really is sublime. You don't just do to spice temple to eat the delicious food, it is much much more than that. It is a real living experience, that you go to simple enjoy - from the atmosphere, hospitality, delicious food etc etc.

The food here was amazing! We had the set menu. It was a little spicy but that's the whole point i think.. hence the name.. and I love spicy food. The service just kept coming and waiting on us. We were a large group and probably a bit loud at times but we were accepted. The place has a low light so if you sweat while you eat the hot food no one will see! It is a little on the pricey side, but even though the meals were small as they come out but there was alot of small meals that filled you up. Everyone should experience this place.

A really beautiful fit out and Neil Perry has done well. Had the yum cha and it was ok. Prices are a lot higher than the general yum cha places but I guess we were paying for the knowledgeable service staff, impeccable timing and high quality ingredients.
Look, it's not really fair to compare it to your standard yum cha joint because you will find the flavours will be different. In all fairness, I think Spice Temple tries to take it to another level in that you order off the menu and the chefs make to order. Some of the ingredients are so fresh and of high quality, it's almost a sin to find it seasoned as it arrives to your table.
Food was good in a contemporary, yum cha inspired type of way. Decor was gorgeous, many drinks to choose from and had individual descriptions. I actually think it was an 'arty', culinary adventure. Just expect this and you won't be disappointed!

My friend held her birthday dinner in Spice Temple. the restaurant has such a great ambience. once you arrived, they offer you to have a pre drink - which located downstairs. when you ready for dinner the staff will inform you and direct you to your table! very professional!! Food - taste fantastic (spicy) and well presented. the service from the staff was excellent since the start until we finished. really satisfied with their food and service!!

Attentive and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Professional feel and the interior is very impressive. Food is well presented, and the flavours were intense. Had the banquet, and was very satisfied stomach and taste buds.
