This restaurant is loud on the weekend. During the week there are great specials. The garlic potatoes are very tasty. The service is good
This place is my absolute favourite for catch ups with friends. Best to order a variety of food. The chorizo and garlic prawns are my favourite, the salads are lovely too. Staff are friendly and they have great mid week specials.
I actually visited here because on Mondays the usually have HALF PRICE TAPAS! Glad I did because there is also so much more than tapas - grills, banquet menus, paella, desserts, wine and even take away.
Food out came out fast and good quality Spanish food. The wine they recommended was really nice too. Overall great experience.
Approximate cost: $160
I went there with two friends, in total we order avocado salad, squid tapas, garlic prawn, mushroom tapas, seafood paella! The atmosphere was great, however, the food tends to be really salty! It didn't meet my expectation, as I heard this is one of the best Spanish restaurant in town.
Love tapas, thanks for the review, will need to try this one
Yes, these people know about interior decoration and sangria and have great deals of tapas and paella. We couldn't have asked for more. Flavoursome, original, generous servings and solicitous waitresses. To top it all up, they added the live flamenco music and dance. Overall it was very satisfying experience despite the crowded setting and loudness of it all. We've been back a few times.
I love a good Tapas place :-)
I enjoyed a fabulous meal and overall evening with some friends. Not being a huge meat eater, I was impressed with the vegetarian dishes on offer, particularly the range of prawn dishes. The service was prompt and staff were friendly and polite. Would happily return and recommend Spanish Tapas :)
i think i might go there now
nice!
ive never been to a tapas resturant this was my first time had some sizzling garlic prawns with crusty bread and dipped it into the garlic sauce yum,the spanish paella was a bit dry,for dessert we had creme caramel which was tasty a bit pricey
To put it simply:
Some friends and I enjoyed a quiet lunch at Spanish Tapas.
To begin, in comparison to other Spanish restaurants, I felt the menu was lacking. There were certainly an array of dishes on the menu, however what you read was exactly what you got. I personally enjoy a little wow factor on my plate and it just didn't hit it for me.
The interior looks charming and more over in keeping with the theme. You won't necessarily be transported metaphysically to Spain, yet the certain hints of culture do stand out.
The staff were friendly and attentive, although I do like some initiative shown, namely having my order read back to me. This can be very reflective as to how much focus the business puts in to customer service/satisfaction.
During their lunch period (Wed to Sat), there is a special on the Tapas menu, so that was a pleasant surprise and more over anyone looking for an inexpensive yet satisfying feed should drop past.
**The garlic was bread was delicious, coupled with the Russian Salad**
**If you enjoy a drink or two with your meal, they have an amazing bar and extensive selection of beverages**
Make sure you visit the website.
Approximate cost: $10.00 - $30.00 excluding Banquet Menu
Really enjoyed there - good food, great service and a live spanish music in the evening. This might be a good place to have a dinner party as well.
