I rented a hovel through Southwest. The place was in disgusting condition when we took it, we spent days thoroughly cleaning it and ridding it of pests. That said, unlike other agents, their property manager acknowledged the poor condition of the property on the condition report when we went in and they rent reflected the condition of the property. They also did not pursue us to undertake professional cleaning before we returned the keys because of the state of the place when we went in. We were good tenants so there was no real communication with them during our occupancy but when we needed something done, they responded just as they should have.

We were left waiting a ridiculous amount of time for an inspection with them once, though. I had to reschedule a shift at work because I was stuck waiting outside for an agent for so long and in the end she didn't even show up!
