This business has changed hands quite a few times over the past few years, and it's no wonder. I can't see this current version lasting to long either. I reviewed this cafe last in 2008 on Menulog, and swore I'd never go back, but they have had a change of ownership and advertsied all new products. I should have stuck to my guns, but decided to give them another try. New owners, no improvement.
The coffee was tepid, and tasted burnt.
I ordered a bacon and egg burger, and got a bacon and egg roll that had been sitting in the bain marie for quite some time. Dried out, stale, tasteless, no sauce, no butter. A piece of dried out bacon, and an egg that could have been used as an ice hockey puck. It should have been thrown out, but instead they chose to sell it.
Sorell looks like it has become the 'don't go to' place for food.
