I wish I had of read the online reviews first, before visiting this Ristorante.

After spending a lovely day in Shellharbour visiting the lovely sights and the local shopping centre, it was time for dinner.

We found this place, the menu presents itself as a very easy on the eye with very few selections. I felt terrible after denying my husband of pub food to return to this place for Italian food.

Being of Italian heritage I love my Italian food.

This restaurant is called Sopra Italian for upstairs, which it is located upstairs, has a great balcony overlooking the street.

We were greeted upon arrival, the waitress are all young and they do not know their meals when asked.

Never in my whole life have I experienced such poor Italian food, the only good about our meals were the kids meals, which was penne with sauce.

The bruschetta had great crunchy bread, though the topping was really not great, the onions used in this dish were horrible, too overpowering, and too much vinegar.

My main dish Cannelloni, was just a plate of mashed up something. The tiramisu didn't taste nice either, the flavours just did not compliment each other.

We toke up the $35.00 deal and I wish I hadn't, the amount we paid was a rip off for what we had on the plates.

As another reviewer said, it needs a Gordon Ramsay make over !! I agree, ! Thankfully we have so much nice Italian places in Sydney.

I am still struggling with the whole event this morning.

I wish I could of given it a better review though it just didn't meet my standards.

Sopra is a beautiful local Italian restaurant in Shellharbour, focusing on northern Italian cuisine. The food was beautiful and the staff were lovely. I had a good time here, very homely and I will be back to eat again.
