My daugther came here for some tests after being an inpatient in a private hospital for two weeks. The private hospital didn't have the advanced equipment and SCGH did. A well organised hospital with professional nursing staff and the doctor was a lot more attentive & provided us with more care and information than we had been given the whole time at a private hospital. So good to see that a public hospital can still provide this level of service and care. We went private and there were no excess costs; to thank us for that they gave us meal vouchers and free paper. Nice little touch

I find the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital the best including the Emergency Department. It appears to be better funded.
