returned after being away quite some time and i was taken with the corn & coriander fritters with avocado, tomato relish & haloumi cheese + berry smoothie [18.50 altogether] highly recommended!

had a good brother stay overnight & my housemate frequents this cafe very nearby, so we decided to join him :) looking through the menu, I decided to be adventurous & try a Peruvian corn flour dough thing with meat, wrapped in banana leaf (i think it was 'toleme') [?] for $12.9 ... my friend had the eggs benedict. though it wasn't very substantial, mine proved to be adequately filling! :) the decor was simple, funky as expected from cafes, with indoor/outdoor seating on tables, the staff were all very friendly. there seemed to be a good buzz in the cafe on the Sunday morning with plenty of customers, which is only a good sign :)
I would be happy to introduce friends here -- I had a milkshake with a friend another time before. definitely worth checking out if you're ever in the area! :)
