I enquired about a very cheap foil electric shaver, before the sales assistant even knew who or what it was for his first comment was "I wouldn't recommend it", although I explained that it was a stop gap as I'd left my shaver lead somewhere and wouldn't have access to it for a few days, he still kept maintaining he wouldn't recommend it and "you'd be better off with" - which of course was more expensive. This upselling always seems to come across strongly in this store. This assistant was almost argumentative and made a comment on the receipt saying "not rec".

My husband and I went to the Shaver Shop regarding his fairly new electric shaver. The counter staff were extremely knowledgeable and offered suggestions to help prolong the life of the shaver with certain replacement parts.
