Went here for the first time a few weekends ago while at Toowoomba for a birthday party. Close walk to the CBD which was good because I woke up with an arm full of stamps! It was a Saturday night so there was karaoke and there was some great talent. My friend and I even got up and sung 'Drive - Alan Jackson', yes we were DRUNK! Cheap drinks, $3 basics. Bar staff are friendly and great to have a laugh with. Even though it was reno'd a few years back now, it still looks great. Totally tripped out at the bathroom with no sink, the water goes down a crack in the wall.. very tricky, Also a big comfy L shaped lounge in the toilet and TV's above ever cubicle. All the locals were quite friendly until it closed at 2am and one particular group got quite rude and disrespectful while walking back to town. All in all a great night was had. Would definitely go back!

Like this place but past 9.00 pm and a few questionable people start to wander in. It would good if they were more selective who was let in. Most times this is nice venue

I do love the meals and service here, the only reason my overall score is lower is because of the danger of being at this particular hotel of a night.
As lovely as it is during the daytime for lunches, it's a different story at night.
The Shamrock seems to attract a violent and rowdy crew of a night and unfortunately this has lowered my view of the establishment.
But as long as you restrict your visits to end at around 9:00pm it is a great place for a meal and a drink.

Approximate cost: $20.00

Great priced meals and even better as you can always find a shopper docket with a voucher to make it even cheaper. A great feed and atmosphere.

For a quick cheap and tasty meal the Shamrock is a good place to go Mon- Wed for lunch, value for money and close to the CBD.

Approximate cost: $5

A great night was had by all. The Shamrock has just had a major renovation job done after the fire & the atmosphere is terrific. The drinks were not too pricey & the band was great.
