I ordered my shoes from Adelaide at 12pm yesterday, and they arrived 8am today! Couldn’t believe how fast the shipping was, would definitely order from them again

Bought my kids first shoes here and have bought nearly all our shoes since. Best customer service anywhere. They never disappoint. They always go out of their way to help you and are friendly and professional. They make sure your fit is right and you leave happy with your purchase.

Excellent customer service and knowledge of staff. I have always come here for my children’s school shoes where they are fitted appropriately, offer half sizes and have a wide range at reasonable prices. They cater to all sizes and where I have found regular retail stores cannot. I would highly recommend this shoe store both at Watton street and the plaza.

Today we went looking for some Sandals. We found the specific brand on the internet and so went to the Sesto ShoeX on Watton Street.

Our first impression of the store was shocking. The store is so poorly merchandised that it looks more like a border's house rather than a shoe store. Clearly someone needs to help this store to eliminate all the extra styles and colour ways that don't fit.

The store is also in shocking condition. The chairs are old and broken and covered in duct tape. It generally looks dirty.

All this can be forgiven with good customer service, but that was the worst of all. There were two employees in the store. A woman who was so busy speaking with a customer that appeared to be a friend that she totally ignored us for more than 10 minutes. Eventually and elderly man came out to help, but when asked for for a size in the style of shoe we were looking for, he looked very unhappy, made a dissatisfied noise, and went off to the back to look. He came back out provided the shoe asked for didn't have the right sizes.

When my wife tried on the shoes she immediately said it was too tight. His response, without humour and with what sounded like an annoyed tone, said "you give up too easily".

When trying on another shoe, the shoes' buckle was not functioning. In order to help, the sales person got down to see what the problem was, only he used my wife's leg to help him get down, leaning on it for support! He didn't ask permission to allow the touch.

This sales experience was not only poor but inappropriate. Customers should never be touched, other than perhaps the feet, without permission. When customers ask for shoes to try on, this should not be responded to with negativity, but rather positivity. Stores should be merchandised to make finding shoes easy, and the store should be easy to navigate. When a customer says that a shoe doesn't fit, that should be taken seriously. Never should this be responded to with negative remarks about the customer not trying hard enough.

An outstandingly poor experience.

I had a very negative experience where I was told the incorrect information by a sales assistant in regards to exchange and return policies and how they are inforced. I was given the impression by our conversation that I can return within 7 days if the shoes turn out to be too small or very uncomfortable. I stated I needed them for work only and that comfort was a high priority and I wasn't even sure if a size 8 1/2 or 9 would fit better. She reassured me if they're aren't right to bring them back. So I assumed I could try them out as I did, I wore them for 3 hours at work to see. They were not good, very tight and too small so I changed back to my ballet flats. And decided to venture back to the store for the next size up or possibly a return I didn't mind. However, When I came into the store 7 days later to exchange the size of a shoe or return I didn't mind. the team member made me feel very uncomfortable and were not at all understanding of the incorrect and inconsistent information I received. I do feel that staff need further training to be able to communicate the correct information. I do not recommend buying from this company. Please do not buy from this company. When I stated what I was told in person from another staff member. She stated the receipt has the return policy clearly stated on it. I did note that I don't receive a receipt till after a purchase is made. therefore, I had a conversation whit the sales assistant before I made my purchase where she reassured me of my options. And I only had this conversation because I was unsure of making a purchase. However they were wrong. And I was told the shoes have visible signs of being worn so I can't return for another size or exchange. I was confused because how can I know if a shoe fits if I don't at least wear it for a few hours? I left the shoes with the sales assistant and asked if the manager could look into my options please. The sales assistant promised me the owner would call me back to help resolve my problem as I purchased shoes that I can not actually use and can no longer return. I never got the call! Nobody contacted me at all!!!! And over a week later I had to call back myself to follow up and all that was offered by a different staff member again was to streatch out the front of the shoe. I feel disappointed, I feel cheated, I feel like I haven't been treated with respect. The whole situation has caused me to feel very uncomfortable and very negatively about the shoex brand! Please do yourself a favour and go to a store that values its customers and their needs.

The owners are amazing, patient, friendly, l really can not speak highly enough of the customer service received at Watton st. I have gone to other shoe stores and nothing comes close to the service l have received over the last 8 years. Please never change your style!

I always have a look in this store first for our shoe requirements. Good quality shoes and lots of variety to choose from. Great prices as well. What more can I ask for?

I was with my mum who was looking for shoes for an upcoming occassion and we both were extremely impressed with the service.

The sales lady was very friendly, taking good care to find shoes and matching handbag which would suit my mum's tastes and shoes which fit comfortably.

The prices were very reasonable and not at all expensive.

I highly recommend this shop!

Top Service, The person serving me (I suspect he was also the owner) opened at least 15 boxes of new stock to find a shoe I liked....I ended up walking out with 3 pairs and a ripper deal....

Approximate cost: $80

Really helpful at measuring my granddaughter for shoes. They also have a great selection of shoes for children and they are pretty reasonable on price. They also go that little further because I reckon the owner was serving us.
