My first visit was great. I had lunch with a friend, and everything was delicious and filling, and some nice wines too. The service was great, and the place had a nice and relaxing atmosphere.
My second visit... not so much. I went for dinner this time, and unfortunately the service was rather rushed and unfriendly. Not much variety for a vegetarian main meal, and the one I chose was too strong of a tomato flavour. I only got through a few mouthfuls before I felt a little sick, as did my friend who ordered a beef dish.
I will definitely return for lunch sometime, but never again dinner.

This place is a great find for north Hobart, nestled in behind Marti Zucco's. You can enjoy a fantastic late breakfast or tasty lunch or go at night for a really tasty dinner. Have thoroughly enjoyed a couple of visits here and will continue to return. Definately somewhere I would recommend to anyone.

Popped in yesterday for a bit of brunch with my lovely wife after wandering through North Hobart stumbled upon this little place in behind Marti Zucco's.

The place was fairly quiet on a Saturday lunch time which suited us quite well. The waitresses were attentive without being smothering which made the experience quite enjoyable.

My wife had pancakes in a berry and citrus type sauce which she tells me was quite tasty, whilst I was quite impressed by the "Big Breakfast" consisting of poached eggs, bacon, mushrooms, home made sausage and hashbrowns and some grilled tomato.

Will I go back? I can say so with certainty. If you're in the area and looking for somewhere, I can certainly recommend this place.

Small little café with good Italian food.

Access behind Marti Zucco off the Haigh's laneway near the chickenfeed carpark.

Access can be difficult as they only have stairs, which can be a problem if you require assistance, eg pram, walker etc. I tried for about 5 minutes to get the attention of staff to get some assistance (the cafe was empty and I couldn't see any staff). Eventually some passers by helped me. If they had a bell at the bottom of the stairs to get someone's attention it might be easier.
