My husband and I came here on a raining weekday in May. The last time I went, it was about 14 years ago and a few things have changed. There are different rides, including a fun one called Storm Coaster. The bad thing about this ride though, is that you will end up quite soaked, which is not good if the weather is cooler. Make sure you wear swimwear, or if not, bring a poncho. They sell ponchos there for $6 each, which is quite pricey.

Food is expensive too, although you can get corn on the cob for $2.

I liked the shows. We managed to catch most of the shows all in the morning, and did a few rides in the afternoon. Not long to wait since we came outside of school holidays.

Fantastic theme park, we went to Wet N Wild and Movie World and this was one of the best. There are events and rides for kids and adults, there are great shows, scary rides, rides to relax. For whatever age you are you can have fun, get the 3 day theme park pass for approximately $90 for the best value.

Yes, the 3 park pass is the best value if you're staying for about a week at the Gold Coast, or longer. I missed out on Wet N Wild this time because the weather is a bit colder in May, but definitely worth it in summer, and best to go outside of school holidays.

I was pleasantly surprised by sea world. I thought it would be more kid focused but there are some new rides which really get your adrenaline going. The animals shows are interactive and vey entertaining. It is a bit sad seeing the animals alone out of their natural environment. The theme park is quite clean and the spongebob arena in massive. Great fun for kids and adults alike.

There are a few rides that are suitable for adults too. One is the Storm Coaster, and another is the Vikings one. Another favourite is the Jet Ride. It was the fastest and most fun for my husband and I. You don't get too wet with that one at least.

Of the three theme parks, we found this to be the least exciting. The kids loved the dolphin and seal shows, but due to the crowds, we had to stand at the back with the kids on our shoulders.
There is not much shade, so it's important to wear a hat and sunscreen.

I agree that this one has less rides than the other 2 (movie and wet n wild), but the shows are quite good if there isn't too much of a crowd.
