My boyfriend and I decided to celebrate our anniversary with wine tastings in the Hunter Valley and this was the first place we went to after doing some research online. This place did not disappoint - it has a beautiful cottage style feel with lots of grass and flowers, it is clearly well looked after. We had a tasting of about 8 different wines, accompanied with a beautiful mini platter of cheese, crackers and other nibbles. The girl who went through the tasting with us was really lovely and made the experience complete for us. I ended up buying a bottle of wine but we plan on ordering more online at some stage because we both agreed they were the best tasting wines of the three wineries we went too.

Scarborough Wines in the Hunter Valley is awesome, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this winery for a tasting on the weekend. The point of difference at Scarborough Wines is that my friends and I got to sit down at a table for our tasting and were given complimentary cheese/crackers & dried fruits. Scarborough Wines offered a great selection of wines to try and the lady who went through it all with us was both friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. The cellar door is high up on a hill, so the view is very pretty also. This winery is worth checking out.

Exceptional wines - the pinot is very nice but the chardonnay is simply amazing. The best I've ever had. The cellar door is very clean and inviting, and the staff are friendly and professional. I've been a fan of Scarborough for years - even had their chardonnay at my wedding 13 years ago! And still the quality is fantastic. Dont come here looking for a wide range of wines to choose from - Scarborough specialises and by doing so create wines that are something special indeed.
