I love cheese, so given the opportunity to try before i buy is perfect for me. So many delicious choices and all tasting fabulous made it diffiicult to choose but blue cheese is quite often my favourite. Definitely a must stop and try when in the Market.
Unfortunately today the staff at Say Cheese tried to sell my wife some fetta which was reduced in price from $10 to $8.45, on account of it "not having many days left". As it turned out, its best before date was 8 days earlier!! It is never good to sell week-expired cheese to anyone, especially not people in the medical profession...
Hi Tony_L, thanks for another well written review. How on earth were you able to catch them out? Are we correct in assuming that the employee in question was silly enough to leave the legitimate ‘use-by’ date attached to the actual packaging? Thanks for the heads-up. Reeces
Great range of cheeses as you would expect at the Central Markets. Staff have a good knowledge of their products and more than willing to help. Good place to go for a cheese plate for a party or alike.
Bought some fine cheese here and it was hard to decide which shop to purchase from as it's neighbour is Smelly Cheese Shop. I ended up purchasing from this shop as it seemed to have more traditional styles of cheese, and offered other items like free range eggs(pretty expensive), pates etc. Just love these specialty stores in the market and the atmosphere really make them appealing.
