on grand final weekend this year, ourselves and our friends were in the area and found this pub near our hotel and decided to call in for a much needed lunch as we were starving

we were quite happy with the friendly hospitable service of the staff, who were quite helpful in putting tables together for our group of 4 and 2 toddlers.

we ordered parmas (yes favourite pub meals) and absolutely loved it, as it was a decent portion and cooked fresh as it should be

the bar had a good selection of cold beers too and according to the boys were priced about average

the AFL grand final was shown on the tvs around the pub and bistro area which was what we all wanted. a very pleasant surprise was that the management provided hot snack foods free of charge to the patrons during half time which was a lovely gesture

great little pub to visit when you are in the area.
