Jumped in there the other day only to find all my favourite sausages out and so I stocked up for the freezer. Jordan kindly packaged them for me ready to freeze. Feta chicken and rocket , curry,etc so yummy!

My wife has been looking for a local butcher for some time now.
She purchased some ham for Christmas today from Saratoga Meats.
When she asked about putting an order in for boneless rolled pork and a couple of long eye fillets, the butcher said that she would need to ring through her order today, as Christmas orders were closing today at 5.30pm.
When she called Saratoga Meats she was then told over the phone that they do not take telephone orders!
After much discussion, the butcher who answered her call, said to ring back in 20minutes as he was busy.....
When we rang around other Butcher shops, not happy with the mis information about phone orders, we found out that the price of Saratoga Meats long eye fillets are over 100% dearer than their competitors and the pork at Saratoga meats is 30% dearer also.
Needless to say, we will not be going back to Saratoga Meats as their lack of service and pricing does not warrant our support.

we have bought gourmet sausages (delicious combinations, always moist, tasty), chicken (they only supply free range), various lamb (including chops, rump, boned leg), beef (including sirloin, rump, t-bone).
we are NEVER disappointed with quality and flavour - visitors (including from south coast and various sydney locations) have described it as the best meat they have tasted "in years".
costing more than the supermarkets, but never tough or flavourless - worth the extra (we have lower income now but still buy at SQM, within our budget)
