Situated right next to the shopping centre. This large hotel has a very big dining area, which can be sectioned off. Buffet well worth a visit if your really hungry. Two soups which were really hot and tasty, a good selection of salads and vegies. Roast Meat and three gravies. A good variety of Chinese and Indian. And a large selection of sweets. Sports Bar and pokies also available. Would be a good idea to make a booking as can get very busy with groups.

Went last Sunday night without a booking and was given a table straight away. The food was excellent beautiful fresh natural oysters full of flavor with prawns as many as you can eat as well as the other great food on the buffet and awesome deserts. Will definitely be going back again with more friends.

went for lunch on a monday to avail of the buffet discount, heaps of variety available & nice, casual, relaxed, friendly atmosphere

my absolute favorite would have to be the pudding, super sweet & served warm - great topped with ice cream!

Our first visit was a spontaneous Sunday night stop in, with no booking but we had no trouble getting a table. The buffet food was fantastic, I'm sure some of it was frozen but it all seemed good to excellent quality. Staff were fast to clear plates but at one point they ran out of silverware. My only real problem was with other patrons, many of whom seem to think it's OK to let their children (tots to teens) walk around with no shoes on. That must be against some health regulations? Also, I took my boys in the playroom which is fantastic, but there were about 20 other kids in there with NO PARENTS, even though signs clearly state that children are to be accompanied by adults. They either need a permanent staff member in that room or they need to enforce the rules and ask patrons to leave who do not supervise their kids. Not fair to the other kids who do have parents with them to be trampled and pushed around by older, bigger, bullying kids. Restaurant - 8 stars out of 10. But expect to sit next to some people with no manners or respect.

Even though we had a booking the line for the buffet was out the door. You only get 2 hours to eat but half an hour of that was taken up by queuing for the table. Then no one told the customers that you could line up at each station so there ended up being a long conga line to get food so another half an hour was wasted. The only separate station was for desserts. Staff should tell you to line up at each section for the food you would like. Everyone started at one end and put tiny bits of food on their plate until they reached the other end. With a disabled child and 2 pensioners with us to get food for, by the time we ate there was only an hour to go. The food however is great, nice and fresh and kept hot. Would love to go again when they've worked out a better system.

The buffet is ok, but expensive for what they have. The tapas bar when it first opened was FABULOUS. I was so excited to have a decent nice place to go for a meal. I booked it then for my husbands birthday to find the menus had been minimised and smaller portions for the same price!! HELLO!! No surprise it has since closed and they've opened something else. I have yet to try the new one.

Approximate cost: $30

We've been here a couple of times now. The first time we went, customer service was appalling. We walked in without a booking and needed a table for 4. We were then told (quite rudely) that we may as well leave because no tables were available. However we decided to wait and within 2 minutes we were seated. The food was quite good, considering buffet style is often disappointing, but I was pleasantly surprised with the variety and the quality.
We've been back twice since the first time and the food has been good both times. I would recommend to try it at least once and decide for yourself. There's a play area for the kids which is always a bonus for the families. But i still think the customer service could be improved upon.

Dining room. FANTASTIC Kids play area. Food was good for a buffet and hot. We went on a Tuesday night and it was busy but don't know how you would go on a Friday/Sat - be pretty crowded I would imagine. Drink prices were good.

Ok, this might be slightly over rated, but a group of 4 + 1 child walked in to the Sanctuary Lakes Hotel on a Thursday night (yes, walked in, no booking) and received a "Thursday discount" on all you can eat buffet, only costing us $21.90 per adult. The food teeters between high quality frozen food and middle range restaurant quality, which is fine by me for $21.90 all you can eat! This place is very well presented and you'll seldom find empty vats sitting there getting cold, they are on the ball in regards to bringing out fresh trays of food. I was satisfied walking out and had a great night. They have food ranging from indian, Chinese, european, italian and more. There is a nice little desert bar to boot. I was pleasantly surprised to be honest, a nice atmosphere (aside from a screaming child somewhere in the room), nice tasting food that was actually fresh and relatively hot and good staff. What tips this into a 4 star rating is the value for sure.

great review, have always been curious as to what it's like in here, what with it being brand new and all!

The food here is great. Good variety! The playground is a hit with my daughter. The only bad thing is they seem to often run out of the butterscotch sauce for the sticky date pudding and you have to wait quite a while for them to make a next batch which can be quite annoying. But apart from that, very good!
