Love katsu curry at Samurai. I usually have prawn katsu curry or fish teriyaki and they are spotless 9 times out of 10. Very popular and generally busy during lunch and dinner.

Cheap Bento boxes and the green tea milkshake is delicious. This place is always packed so it's a good idea to try and come in early to beat the crowd.

I get bento boxes for clients to take in if im having a morning tea meeting. Very good. Pretty friendly staff, quick and easy ordering and for a good price. Looks and tastes fresh too!

Cheap and good value bento boxes. The food doesn't take long to come out to the tables and tastes good given the low prices. Not exactly authentic or well made but good value and great for a quick lunch. The green tea smoothies are delicious.

The food here is seriously fresh and really good, especially for the price, which is incredibly reasonable.

Love their dinner boxes, for only $15 you get an entree, soup, rice dish and a milkshake. My favorite rice dish is the curry chicken, so yummy. And oh, do try their green tea milkshake, goes really well with the curry chicken rice. The staffs are not as friendly as you would normally expect from a japanese place, they always look grumpy and don't really smile to customers.

Samurai are pretty well known for providing an excellent feed for minimal cost - they're not re-inventing the wheel with their basic Japanese favourites, but the food is yum and soooo cheap. You can get a dinner box (soup, entree, main and dessert/milkshake) for $15 - and you're carrying a serious food baby afterwards.

PS The milkshake can be more accurately described as a thickshake, they are AMAZING, I'd recommend the green tea

It is very nice food and also the price is so good. It is very reasonable price and suitable for a student. I was there and ate Chicken Curry.. WOW!! It was so nice

Love this little eatery. It's quick and good value. The place is small and always run out of seating, however it is worth the wait. You probably have to wait 5 minutes after ordering for your food to arrive but due to the quick timeframe, the food that comes out are fresh and hot and does not look precook. Love love this place.
