Absolutely beautiful seafood! We enjoyed some of the cleanest tasting fish from anywhere in Brisbane, the calamari was excellent and the chips were cooked to perfection. This place has had a patchy history over the years under previous owners, but the current team is doing an outstanding job. If you’re looking for great fish and chips, do yourself a huge favour and give Barnacles and Brew a try. You’ll even get a nice cold beer on tap!

Staff are young and not amazingly polite. The food is great for the price though, really great and it pretty quick too. Also they're quite a selection of different fish and seafood types.

The food here is very good, the fish is cooked to your preference and they use a very light and tasty batter. The service is not particularly great, as some of the staff are inclined to be offhand and even a little rude.
