Salt on The beach is a great restaurant right on the beach, Port beach. Lovely fresh fish and seafood, I had the schnapper in a lovely sauce with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Washed down with a lovely Sav Blanc, great service and a lovely entree of salt and pepper calamari, makes it top notch. Plenty of parking and fully licensed.

Attended a wedding function here recently and the experience was above average. The setting was lovely by the sea and there is even a playground for children to entertain themselves. Waiters were friendly and quite helpful. The food was served buffet style which was pretty inconvenient as we all had to line up table by table, which took a very long time, but I suspect this is not really the restaurant's fault. The actual food itself was pretty good and was topped up frequently and served hot. Would love to come back again for a normal meal and see what the service is like in a different situation.

Great location, food is ok however don't enjoy lining up to order food would be nice to have table service. Great if you have kids as there is a playground for the kids and Friday nights they have kids corner to entertain the kids whilst the adults can enjoy a meal and a chat.

Considering the restaurant is classed as fine dining, the menu was limited and simple. The service and setting was great, but the food was a huge let down.

attended a birthday function early in the year. Had to line up to order drinks at the bar then take a number and wait for them to be delivered, which took a long time. And was told that they were no longer taking food orders because the kitchen could not keep up. Odd. Hopefully they have fixed what ever problem they had that day as its a fantastic spot for an afternoon beer in summer

I always go to salt on the Beach mainly for the kids playground seem like the only place in Perth where the kids can been entertained while parents can have a nice lunch.

I really like this place even now that it's under new management and a new name. The decor is ocean-chic and it creates a wonderful, romantic ambience. The service is helpful and efficient. The food was tasty - my husband had the fish and chips, and I had seafood linguine, which unfortunately did not agree with me but this does and will eventually happen to you with seafood!
