I HAVE VISITED SALT AND PEPPER ONLY THE ONCE AND FOUND IT A COFFEE SHOP THAT I DOUBT I WILL VISIT AGAIN
I ORDERED A GREAT DEAL ON A BACON/EGG ROLL AND COFFEE FOR $8 only having a short time before meeting someone
the coffee arrived within 5 minutes and was quite full bodied but after another 20 minutes the roll still hadn't arrived
I asked whether they had forgotten me and a rather surly girl said no, and lo and behold 2 minutes said roll appeared, boiling hot and straight out of a microwave quite obviously
too hot to really enjoy
won't be back

i was catching up with a good friend & in search of a cafe on a cold winters' day for a hot chocolate, i only do dark hot chocolate [i'm a bit of a chocolate racist that way :P], walking around the neighbourhood, we came upon this cafe lounge & both ordered hot chocolates, mine a hot dark chocolate & my friends' a hot milk chocolate, and for the it was only $7.50! i was expecting at least $8, so the price pleasantly surprised me. the setting was lovely with nice decor, we stayed until closing time on a Sunday & thoroughly enjoyed the kind, friendly staff! .. not sure how much main courses were as we were only looking for hot chocolates :)
