After driving past this restaurant for so many years as we live only 15 minutes away my husband and I decided to finally stop and have a look today for lunch. I think we picked the worst day, it was so busy, but we still managed to get a table outside. We had a glass of chardonnay each whilst we looked over the menu and thought WOW this is really expensive. Not wanting to spend a minimum of $30 on one main meal (the meals really looked very small) we decided to have a burger each at a reasonable $10. The burgers were alright but nothing to get over joyed about, I could have made this burger at home actually. We could here the people at the next table also discussing how expensive and small the meals were. Whilst we found the service to be very good and a very friendly atmosphere, we didn't find that the food was all that exciting for the price. We did enjoy the wine though. We will not be returning.

I have never actually eaten here but have been to a function that they catered for and the food was fantastic. The service amazing and the whole way they set up the area was very impressive. I believe that it wasn't cheap but the food was so good I am sure it was worth whatever they paid.

I love this place - a great location, great cellar. It's just a shame they went a bit too corporate during the tour down under. We had been going there for 5 or so years and last year they increased the prices to where we didn't bother booking
We didn't realise we'd have to book for dinner and they were booked out, so we just got some tapas and drinks at the bar and it was fantastic. The duck fat chips were amazing! The staff were really friendly and happy to chat and talk about local wines and beers. We also got to chat to a local winemaker who'd dropped in for a beer! It was fantastic watching the chef making beautiful gnocchi and we'll definitely have to go back for a meal sometime.
Always such an enjoyable experience. The food is always amazing, the staff are always lovely and such a relaxed environment. This is my absolute favourite restaurant and I will be going back as soon as I can!
