This is a family favourite. We visit at least once a year with the Entertainment card and sometimes two, three or more. It's worth the travel with the delicious food, amazing dessert platters and gorgeous beach view.

This is one of our very favourite Melbourne restaurants. I visited yesterday for my third time. Once again, service was impeccable and food stunning. It is certainly a fine-dining restaurant and your expectations can remain high and be met and surpassed with each visit. Meals are pricey ranging from 38 - 42 per main. They do, however, have a variety of tasting menus. My husband tried the seafood four course yesterday for $75 and was incredibly impressed. I haven't tried the weekly two course for $40 or three course for $45 but it sounds wonderful and great value. The location itself is stunning night or day. We have been twice during the evening and once during the day. At night we strolled along the beach and during the day we made time to allow our three year old to play on the beach directly in front of the restaurant with the insurance of life guards set up too. The star dish would be there dessert platter. It is the most generous of any of the restaurants we've visited. It contains between five and seven different desserts, all as delicious and unique as the next. It changes each season too which is a great bonus. An absolute must visit and it's even available for entertainment card discount.

Approximate cost: $40
