Really like this place service is second to none and they look after you if you over do it at all
Loved the pub grub as it was more fine dining than your run of the mill fare. The staff were very wonderful and I would recommend this place to anyone who visits fremantle.
Approximate cost: $15
Good spot for a beer and some lunch. Nice to sit ousside or up top on the deck and watch the crowd go by and enjoy a glass of wine or cold beer. Food is ok, lots of daily specials. I've tried the pizzas and they're delicious and reasonably priced too. Curries are also mive here. Band plays on the weekends and crowd is a good age range from 20's-50's, 60's+
Approximate cost: $20-30
Right in the heart of Fremantle , on South Terrace, lays the iconic pub the Sail and Anchor. A great spot for a lager, and they have a nice menu too, steaks, curry, salads and nice seafood too. Great wine list with lots of great WA choices too.
Approximate cost: $29
thanks good info
staff were friendly and they have some good specials but the beer was terrible. Craft beer can be like a lucky dip but out of the 6 tasters we had only 1 was bearable. we didnt sick around for any more.
had lunch three weeks ago at the sail and anchor found the atmosphere in the pub friendly the food was quite reasonable priced but standard quality the drinks were a little overpriced but nice and cold and the toilets were nice and clean
We love going here on a Sunday after a morning shop at the markets, hubby enjoys the huge range of beer while I enjoy some wedges and a burger or fish and chips - never fail me :) We love sitting out on the balcony, or leaning over and watching the buskers near the square there
The best range of beers in WA. It's great to see barely any Fosters, Lion or generic overseas brands on the taps. Full on local and international craft beer paradise, with some pretty sweet food and atmosphere too. Shame it's owned by Woolies.
this place is always good for a sunday afternoon drink!
always busy with people thinking the same so its a great atmosphere
the staff are friendly and the beer isnt to expensive
We met with friends and really enjoyed the food sitting in the beer garden area. Great value for the seafood share and best prawns we've had in ages. Not too fussed on their beer though.
Overall it was very enjoyable and will be going back.
Approximate cost: $25
