I came here because the price for each sushi dish was cheap at 2.90, but it definitely wasn't that great. The sushi on the sushi train that you didn't personally order wasn't cold- instead it was lukewarm. Thought the sushi tasted rather bland and didn't eat many dishes.

If you're a fan of sushi train, Sagunja spells 'G O O D NEWS'
Where else in Sydney can you grab a sushi train dish @ $2.50 each ?

That's right nowhere, and even if you could find such , you'd probably be stuck with some nori shush that nobody wants.

I'm not sure how they pull this off but their sushi are @ $2.50
Amazing value. Staffs are mostly friendly, but nothing to write home about.

The only catch is, that if you are a critic walking in expecting an A+ great sushi (like the ones you get from nice restaurants in Japan) then you would probably disappointed.

By no means their sushi (sushies?) are inferior, but nothing spectacular (they seem to flame most of their sushies) so don't expect, kujira or other super expensive or rare kind of sushi.

As for the rest of casual sushi lovers, if you're going anywhere else but here, then you must be out of your mind !

You always get what you paid for, perhaps a little more than that at Sagunja though.....

went there for the first time yesterday for dinner and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of food and service. although we had to wait for 15mins to get in, it was worth it. all sushi dishes was $2.50 and it was excellent quality and the best sushi variety I've seen. they didn't skimp on meat like a lot of sushi places do and would definitely go there again and again and again...

Approximate cost: $2.50

One of the newest sushi bar in Chatswood. Don't let the price fool you.
It's cheap and it is great food. Fresh and good varieties. This bar is the only one in Chatswood that installed an ultra violet device for hygiene, killing those nasty salmonella .

Approximate cost: $2.50

I went here for lunch, and it was fairly quiet, though there were a number of in and out while we were there. This is one of those Sushi Train-style restaurants that have a variety of different types of sushi and sashimi on coloured plates that go around on a track in front of you. You can order an a specific meal as well, but the sushi train is good value, and you get to choose your own food as it goes past. Most of the sushi is prepared in front of you by the chefs, and is served fresh. There is a great variety, and some that are different to the other sushi train restaurants in the area.

Approximate cost: $15
