10 reviews about Safeway

Since recently re-branding from Safeway to Woolworths, I've (coincidentally?) noticed a markable improvement. Usually only shop here when at Fountain Gate for something else as it is convenient. Products and prices are just like any other supermarket, however I've had 2 recent experiences with lovely younger staff members there! They were both very friendly and chatty, and seemed genuinely interested in me as a customer. It made for a really nice change!

Just as with coles and other supermarkets at this shopping centre, I only use them if I am already shopping in the area as parking can be very hard to find. The shop itself is very well set out and well stocked,

Great store but hard to park at. Great product range and good customer services. Checkout queues are never that long.

This store has a great shopping environment. All the staff are very friendly and look tidy and clean. The seafood section looks fresh and appealing. Fruit and veg always look fresh. The store is well set out and enjoyable to explore. No straight up and down isles like most stores.

Safeway/Woolworth's prices seem to have gone up a fair bit lately. I always found them significantly cheaper than Coles but now it seems to be the other way round. They still have a great variety and the fruit/vegies are still great quality

They can have some really great specials. Generally the Fruit & veg are of a high standard and better priced than Coles.

Staff here can be friendly & helpful.

Don't like the deli setup these days with a lot of the cold meat pre-cut and pre-packaged, so now I tend to buy this from Coles.

Pretty good. I have been shopping at Aldi and then Safeway. I notice that Safeway seem to be cheaper than both Bi-Lo and Coles. Staff are always friendly and happy.

Approximate cost: $250

the food has always been fresh when I have shopped there and if you go late in the evening you can go in and out pretty quickly.
