Argueably the cleanest and well presented Woolworths supermarket I have ever shopped in. All the staff have been cheerful and helpful, from the guy who greeted me to the gils at the checkout.
I have never had any issues with the freshness of the meat, produce or frozen goods - all have been as to be expected.
I love the intimate feel of this supermarket - more like your small local place to shop.
Just a shame there's no undercover parking - but it's a small price to pay for old fashioned service.

Shopping here is usually a pleasure. It is a smallish store, but new and clean and rarely crowded. I do not buy fruit, vegetables or meat here due largely to price and quality. However I buy my general cupboard items and toiletries here and find it very convenient. Also it has good parking,although not undercover.

I'm a regular shopper at this safeway and i can't say anything bad about the customer service at the register but i just wanted people to know that their Fruit and Vegies are really bad, the worst i've ever seen. I was in there today and asked for the manager in that department but apparently he wasn't there, so i spoke to a guy working in that section and told him that their produce is rotten and defently un-consumable and pretty shit!!! He said that he hasn't found anything wrong with it so i dragged him over to some rockmelons that were caved in and growing plenty of mould and fur! All he could do was smile and ask me if there was anything else in which i politely told him it was his job to inspect the stuff, not mine!

I am really impressed that everytime I shop here (probably 3 times a week) no matter what time of day it is I never have to wait in a que to the checkout! I have never been more than the second person in line. If they see more that 2 waiting they quickly open another register. Store is always clean and well stocked too.
