Well, they advertised that they had parking... no. Public parking nearby... expensive. My friend parked at the casino because it was cheaper, when we met for dinner.

Holes in the windowsill, seal falling off window.

One cockroach. Dust so far built up in skirting board crevices, I think it had petrified there. I don't mind old and broken down, but old and broken down and dirty I can't abide.

No baby toothpaste, a liquid hand soap that takes your skin off. In the shower, one liquid to do hair and body. Disgusting.
I have stayed in much cheaper places in the cbd that were much better/cleaner.

All the pics they put online are of the shopping centre next door, and possibly their least used room that they keep for show.

The aircon controls were just verging on broken in my Mum's room, and her bathroom exhaust never turned off regardless of the switch.

Only one key per room, which made it incredibly awkward for my husband and I to go our separate ways when necessary.

On the plus side, the beds were very clean and very comfortable. Towels clean. New ironing board and iron.

Everything else was crap.

The staff seemed nice except for one self-important over-dressed, over-confident fellow we came across in the lobby.
A superiority complex combined with an obsequious 'hail-fellow-well-met' manner that came across very strangely indeed.

Holes in the hallway carpets, and god knows what splash stains on our ceiling and skirting boards. I could have improved that room in just ten minutes with a damp microfibre cloth... so no excuse.

I will never stay there again.

Rooms too small to stay in. Not much signage out the front of the hotel to tell you where it is located. Meals were expensive as well. Wont ever stay at this hotel again.

Approximate cost: $200

They did not provide an toothpaste. I was very shocked at this. I had to go to Seven-Eleven to purchase my own toothpaste. They charged 50 dollars for deposit for the keys. The room was really small. The only favourable aspect of the hotel was that it was located in a really good location; close to shops, train station, 7/11, Market City, Chinatown. They had very expensive parking, drinks and room hire. However their air conditioner worked really fast.

Approximate cost: $159

Quaint Twin bedroom with ducted air-conditioning and heating. Well maintained. Private and Quiet, set aside from the noise and bustle of George Street but so close to restaurants and entertainment. Really inexpensive rooms available during the week, try and find the best deal. No Cable.

Approximate cost: $80
