Friendly service, yummy tucker. Big fan of the seafood. Great place to kick back with a drink. Friday night is popular with a big meat raffle.

Have been to The Russell Island RSL with my family recently & was very impressed with the New under cover out door are. The staff were very friendly & service was awesome. We dinned @ Billy's Bistro & the meals were lovely, with a special kids meal with Toy that kept the kids entertained while we enjoyed a game of pool. Highly recomended as a nice easy going place to visit .

nice place to dine out, great food and friendly atmosphere, if you don't really know many locals or have just moved over it may be a bit awkward as everyone knows everyone around here! The food is nice and is delicious.

If you want the staff to treat you badly, then this is the place to go. We were ignored and fobbed off when we went here. The bar staff made us feel like we were inconveniencing them whenever we asked for a drink. As for the courtesy bus, there was certainly NO courtesy. We are buying on the island, but will never dine there again.
