The Royal Pavilion Seafood Restaurant offers everyone a private dining experience whether your having lunch or dinner with your family and friends. The place is elegant and there are a number of small private rooms, as well as large group function rooms, which will cost you extra. It can feel a bit uncomfortable with a waiter standing outside the screened room whilst you eat.
Since it was my first time here, we ordered the Peking pork ribs, which was so delicious and a seafood claypot. The seafood claypot was filled with large fresh prawns, scallops and lots of tofu, whihc was yummy, but lacked heat from the wok and seasoning. One of the nice thing about the Royal Pavilion is that they give you pickled radish and carrots as side dishes and a small piece of dinner dessert and fruit. On the negative is that they charge you $5 for hot tea, which is normally free in most Chinese restaurants.

Approximate cost: $80
