This is by far my favourite hotel it has everything the meals are generous and my must have is the chicken risotto i take my family almost every week and they have a kids eat free night with entertainment to boot!

Have been a member here in the past although I have let it lapse. Friendly staff usually and ok place for families as has a kids play area. The usuall pokies and bistro/pub style place although located in not to neat area. Food is basic but generous and prices are reasonable. Their parma is usually the best they offer in my opinion.

I went here a few months ago with my Grandmother and in-laws and enjoyed a traditional pub meal - chicken parmigiana.

The quality of the food was fine although nothing too rave about. The prices were ok as was the service we received.

A plus for families with young kids is the indoor play area for children.

I have been once before and found the meals to be acceptable, nothing extraordinary, but had no complaints.

We hadn't been to this Hotel for quite a long time and, wow, this Hotel has really cleaned up their act! The food is great & the portions are generous. Cheaper than most Hotels around without compromising quality. Seafood is very fresh, meats cooked exactly as we asked for. Wide menu choice including a seniors & childrens menu and there is a couple of nights a week that children eat free. For those with kids, it has a great indoor playground.

I wouldn't recommend this place, I've been there once and had no reason to return. Not much on the menu that are popular items but I recall their being Lambs Brain and plenty of out of the ordinary items like that. I think their was some sort of kids entertainment but most customers were the elderly brought by the pokies machines.

Was invited to celebrate a friend's daughters birthday with a pub meal. Was one of the worst experiences ever. Wednesday nights is $12 main meals night so the place is normally busy - but add to it a table of 30 people and the place falls apart.
Meals were late. Not just late - very late. The excuse was they waited until all orders were taken before making the meals - so as to deliver them in 1 go - the problem was some meals were delivered early then nothing....
Meals received were cold.
My wife's vegetarian risotto was the worst she's ever had. My steak was cold. The father of the birthday girl ordered a well done steak - it was medium at best (vey pink in middle). Some of the people on the table were mouslim - ordered all meals with particular emphasis on no ham / pork / bacon. Yep - you guessed it - at least 1 chicken risotto had ham in it - even though the waitress was adament it was OK. These people had been there once previously and had similar experience - ie large group - late meals - ham in meals.
My guess is that the place may be OK if you have a small group ie up to 6,

the staff here are great and very friendly around public holidays Xmas ect you are best off to book first as they do get booked out very nice large meals l like to go at lunch time then you don't have the workmen/tradies hanging around at the bar sometimes they are a bit noisy

No frills, but very comfortable pub bistro dining. Great staff and lovely basic food make it a pleasant dining experience. There's an indoor playground for the kids, who eat free Monday - Thursday with an adult meal purchase!
