Leah Jacobs was wonderful when I decided to refresh my Grand Californian
Bungalow. I would never have had the courage to do what I did without her
knowledge, advice and encouragement. From choosing the paint colours,
encouraging me to remove the curtains, to discard the carpets, polish the
timbers then and replace the carpets with beautiful rugs, it was all due to
Leah's incite and inspiration. Leah recommended the brilliant workmen and
then ensured they did the wonderfully professional job that I live with
every day. Leah was a rock and a gem and I do not hesitate to recommend her
whenever I can.

By the way, we went away for 17 days during this upheaval and felt
enormously comfortable leaving the supervision of the work in Leah's very
capable hands.

I recently had an investment property refurbished in Melbourne for resale..Leah from Room to Improve was amazing. As I live interstate I worried that the job would not be trouble free.. on the contrary, the entire project was completed on schedule and within budget to my satisfaction. Leah Jacobs helped me through the different options available for window coverings. There was no stress, everything was done on time and the end result is that i am 100% satisfied.i have no hesitation in recommending Leah for any home decoration requirements.

Leah gave honest advice on what to look for in couches and equally honest advice in the choice of fabric to match our carpet & window furnishings (which Leah also helped with a number of years ago). She listened to my ideas and made suggestions which always turned out to be correct. We now have two wonderful couches covered in great fabric and made by great furniture makers. We couldn't be happier.

Leah assisted us with presenting our home for sale. Leah advised us on how to make the most out of our existing furniture in order to maximise the appeal of the home to the buyer. To fill the gaps Leah also provided furniture, bedding, linen, soft furnishings and other small decor pieces on loan for a very reasonable rate.
Having never used a service like this I was a little hesitant, but the whole experience was great. We were impressed with Leah's ability to pick furnishing which complemented existing decors. This saved us a large amount of time and money, as we did not need to repaint rooms.

Replaced dilapidated curtains by see through insulating blinds and curtains, with the aim of excluding heat, providing privacy, but allowing light to enter. The room now looks great with daylight during the day and privacy at night. Looking forward to a cooler room in summer.
Also installed removable fly screens that do not spoil the view. Allow us to open the window to catch an evening breeze, but keep possums, cats, flies and insects outside. Leah of RoomToImprove advised, selected and monitored the progress ensuring that work was completed and installed efficiently.

Leah assisted us with the presentation of our home for sale and set up of our new home. Her service included advice, assistance with furniture layout, choice of soft furnishings, quotations and supervision of contractors. We were delighted with the outcome and the time and financial savings her service afforded us.
