Having trouble finding a contractor for farm fencing, I was excited to see two men engaged in what looked to me an adequate professional job. So I asked for a business card. The card lists farm fencing, trenching, levelling, footings, post holes and general cleanup as the work Mr Winton will do. The only contact point for the business was a mobile number which I consider dubious practice, and besides, I resent the cost of calling mobile phones but I rang because I really did want to employ someone for a job I consider too big for me. My call was answered and I gave him my details, including that I wanted a quotation on the considerable lengths of farm fencing I needed completed. I have no idea if his prices or competency meet the grade because unfortunately nobody followed up.
Over a year and three floods later I have even more need for a professional fence maker but it won't be Mr Winton it seems. Very disappointing lack of service & PR.
