Great fish and chips, we ordered a couple of pieces of battered snapper, the pieces were not huge but the taste and freshness was fabulous. The serving of chips was generous and their onion rings are the best we have ever tried. Service was quick and friendly, prices about average. It was $42 for 3 pieces of fish, chips, potato cakes and onion rings. We could not finish it.

We have been here a few times when visiting Robe and it is always delicious. Last time we were there we had the salt and pepper squid pack and the fish and chips. Both came with salad and chips, with a slice of lemon. Everything was delicious, salad was fresh and it all only took 5 minutes to cook!

There is no EFTPOS accepted here but there is an ATM inside the shop. Limited drinks available. Fresh fish available to buy and take away to cook yourself. Shop is clean and staff are friendly.

I love Robe. The small country town style that's so tight knit and cosy. And being a coastal town, the seafood here is ultimately fresh. The batter is good and delicious and fried in oil that's changed regularly. However, the offering doesn't seem oily.

Tried this fish and chip shop in the hope that it would be better than the one we tried the previous day. It WAS great! Really fresh tasting fish (tried the flake), prawns and calamari. Also tried their potato cakes which were quite large and thick as well as, of course, chips which were cooked perfectly, I like a bit of a crunch with chips, hate soggy ones. No complaints here, everyone enjoyed their meal. We returned two days later for more. It was quite busy but our order was ready within 15 minutes. Staff were very friendly considering how busy it was. Will be returning when in Robe next.
