We celebrated a casual Christmas break up at this restaurant. It was very busy and the staff were handling it quite well. They had a nice range of food and desserts.
The views are great and of course you cant beat the location!

Great location for a business meeting or social catch up over a coffee, beer or cocktail. Great views of the city here

great waterside views and heaps of choices of food and drinks on offer

only downside is that it's usually busy (especially for afterwork drinks) but there's heaps of seating at least

Now I just went here for a couple of drinks at night, but it has an amazing location.. just take the stairs near the bridge behind transport bar in the city and follow them down. This bar is pretty big with amazing views of the river. Great place to drink during the day or night and considering how cold it was all their heaters were on full blast making it such a cozy place outside.
The staff are fun and helpful and although the pricing of drinks is steep you make up for it in atmosphere and views. A definite must in summer! Can't wait to try their brunch menu.

Approximate cost: $30

Riverland can be hard to find (GOOD!) - it's a lovely spot on a sunny day. The food is great if a bit pricey. The place has a lovely, friendly atmosphere, like being at a mates barbie. Can be hard to find a seat but worth the wait.

definitely takes a while to get a seat when it's busy

Excellent venue - there are few better in the city. I've never eaten here - mainly because its so damn expensive! Drinking here is already a strain on the finances, eating is therefore out of the question. The food I saw looked good however. Service is ok - far from the best I've ever had. Wait and bar staff seemed disinterested at best.
In summary, I would go here again for a beer, but there are plenty of cheaper places in the city I'd rather go to.

Nice location. Great spot over looking the river to have a drink and maybe a nibble then move on. Too expensive to stay there for any longer. We brought 2 beers and a bowl of chips and it costs us $26. Customer service was great.

Approximate cost: $17

$14.00 for a tiny ciabatta with 4 prawns, avocado and too much herb mayonnaise and same price for about 10 fried calamari rings soaked in soy sauce with chillies over the top and a slice of lemon (not lime as advertised) - horrible and overpriced and won't be going again.

A bit of a wait for our food to arrive. My mushroom burger was quite nice and cooked to perfection however we found that my friends pizza was slightly undercooked in the base. Nice and social setting though can get pretty busy.

Paid $12 for a pint, feel like I lost a leg. Service is not so great, food took ages to come out and the place was empty so it was strange. Indoor area is very small, so not the best place on a wet and windy day.
