As the only major supermarket in Emerald (for now) Ritchies has a monopoly on business. I have found that their prices are often more than going to Woolies and the produce isn't fresh at all. I have often bought mixed salad (the premixed loose stuff) only to find it is mushy and rotten the next day. Not really happy, looking forward to the new Supermarket.

While there are great specials on occasions at this supermarket, the service is shocking. Many locals have been offended by the service and we are really looking forward to the new supermarket opening later this year or early next year, which is a shame as Ritchies does have the "Community Benefits" scheme and local charities will miss out on donations.
