Loved the food and Al fresco dining atmosphere here! The staff were attentive and polite and we were lucky enough to have a band singing for us - definitely a romantic place to be! Our pasta dishes were delicious but serving size was a bit small.

Times have changed as has this place.
Well weathered and a bit worn.
Food was lacking, service was lacking, and they jacked up the prices.
And I was telling people how good it was.
There were 4 of us and we were all disappointed.

I love it here.
Still an institution in itself and the food speaks volumes.
Always busy and with good reason.

It's really tough to write this as I enjoyed my meal thoroughly and my husband absolutely did not. I had the chicken saltimbocca and the rocket and pear salad - absolutely delicious. Not a very big portion, but it left room for the sublime tiramisu. Not too sweet - just perfect. Hubby had the pork cutlets - they were tiny, the salsa was cold, the side of potatoes didn't arrive until he'd finished which we sent back. The table service was brilliant. I would recommend this restaurant - just don't have the pork!

We love this restaurant, fabulous atmosphere, attentive staff and delicious italian cuisine. Our friends are italian and said it reminded them of home. All our meals were amazing, cooked to perfection, could not fault anything. Yes, a bit more expensive than others but we felt it was money well spent.

The bruschetta with prosciutto and the coffin bay oysters are an absolute must try. They offer some great pasta dishes and the seafood tasted so fresh. Was a very enjoyable night out.

Will definitely be returning very soon.

Very traditional Italian food which is why I came with some work colleagues after work.
I've never been too fond of pasta because I find them too carby, hence fattening, however this place is worth getting fat for. The atmosphere is great, reminds me of little Italy, even though I've never been to Italy.
We all got different dishes each so we all had a taste of each others, and all 3 dishes were amazing nice and not overly cheesy. I imagine if I was Italian this is the way I'd grow up.
It is a bit expensive but with the entertainment card there is a bit of a discount so made it a bit better

I come here all the time for the great pasta and great service. I always come for dinner but would like to try their breakfast some day. I had their tiramisu for dessert once and it was delicious! Prices are as expected for fine dining. I would def come again.

Approximate cost: $25-35

This long established Italian restaurant is renowned for its setting, food and service. It attracts patrons from all walks of life and has a great vibe. The meals are tasty with a good wine list and it makes a great lunch venue. I enjoyed lasagne and salad which was served in a timely manner and just watched the world around me.

Very nice meals and a good selection. Mostly traditional Italian fare but nothing too special. For the prices we were disappointed to still be hungry afterwards.

Approximate cost: $28.00

Thanks for your comments I have just had a similar report from my parents who ate there last week and were very disappointed at the quality of the food as well as the price.
