Richmond is a beautiful area and so well worth the drive if not local to you. The bakery food is great and the scenery is lovely too

Lovely bakery. Very spacious and the stuff they make is nice.

Not sure what it is with Tasmania and their love of scallop pies. I think it just overcooks the scallops.

Anyway, had a seafood mornay pie and it was just ok. Nothing overly fantastic about it this time. Maybe I just picked the wrong thing. I remember their vanilla slice is really good though.

This is a great Bakery in the lovely historic town of Richmond in Tasmania. We keep going back as the pies and cakes are "just delicious" Have never had a better "Chocolate Eclair" The Coffee is Great and the Staff are friendly and helpful.

Loads of choice, great range of breads, sweet cakes, freshly made salad rolls, muffins, and one of the best coffee's around. Cold drinks available, excellent variety, plenty of seating both inside and outside. magazines and local papers available, great place to take a breather while experiencing this colonial convict township.

What a great Bakery. If you take a trip to Hobart you have to visit Richmond and try their scallop pies, they are the greatest.
Filled with plump scallops you wont want to leave after having one.

This was a great bakery - a HUGE range of products, including delicious looking cakes, pastries, rolls and other baked goods. We had a pie, sausage roll and quiche and they were all very tasty. The service was fast despite the number of people waiting and the outdoor common area is a great place to relax and enjoy your food. They even made a very nice coffee. Their procong was very reasonable and overall this was a great lunch stop.
