I must say after initially being very excited to be going to Ribs and Rumps after some great feedback from friends and seeing the reviews online I was expecting great things. Unfortunately compared to what I was expecting I was a little disappointed. I found my meal to be of a good size but was actually quite dry and seemed either over cooked or perhaps not as freshly cooked as I was expecting. The service was also quite slow from the waiting to be seated to the taking of the orders. The prices of the meals are quite expensive so in this instance did not match my expectations. The restaurant is situated in a nice position within walking distance of the Townsville mall and downtown area. I will probably wait until I have friends who really want to go back to this restaurant before giving in another go.

Had an amazing dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff were very professional. We didn't have to wait too long even though the restaurant was packed.

The ribs were to die for! Was sceptical at first about how much flavour they would have since they put 3 bottles of sauce on ur table. But after one bite i was hooked. The place was packed but service was quick and the staff attentive. I thought the price was lower than i was expecting and would definitely go back again.

This is definitely a restaurant that I would not hesitate to recommend. It came highly recommended to me and I was not disappointed. The service was wonderful, the food was amazing, it was cooked perfectly and there was a great selection. I will definitely be going back

we went here for the first time the other night, the service was good, at times a little much that it became annoying. the steak was smaller then i thought it would be, and was barly cooked (considering i asked for well done). was expecting better

Just below our Hotel my mum and i stayed at in Townsville, we didn't want to take the car out or walk far. as soon as we got out of the elevator the amazing smell hit us and we were certain this was our spot for dinner. Craving a great steak being on the road for a week, this is the place to go!!!! i had a 180g Eye Fillet Medium Rare and it was spot on!! the meat melted in your mouth and the veges were real veges, nicely cooked Brocoli, califlower, carrots. not too big that you feel bloated after. My mum had the Grilled barra and she raved about it as well. Prices were really good as well eye fillet $29.95, Barra $21.95. i will be going back everytime i'm in Townsville!!! awesome.
