Was a special anniversary date with the partner. He has been prior and it was a french degustion. This time we went it was an asian fusion one. The creativity of the meal combined with the taste and service made the whole experience worthwhile. I also used the entertainment book and got about $40 off too. Worth trying out once in a while

Due to the torrent of high praise and adoration for this restaurant, my partner and I decided to dig-deep and dined here. As it is on a Degustation only concept, Chef Hadleigh Troy would amuse and entertain and feed us his beautiful creations, course-by-course. I would say that while the food was tasty, it was not more-ish. It was probably more of a visual and sensory experience that diners are paying for. Chef Hadleigh certainly demonstrates his knowledge of molecular gastronomy well in the menu, as well as pairing of flavours. Service-wise, it was a bit cold, and the ambience was not cosy at all and it was dead quiet, and made me a bit self-conscious, for some reason. At the end of the day, I'm glad I have tried it, but probably would not rush back anytime soon.

Fantastic service and the food was exceptionally good. The degustation at $120 has lots of little courses which when we started I thought wouldnt be big enough but you get so many you are very full by the end.
This was our second visit and we will go back.

Restaurant Amuse is more like an experience, not just a meal. I think if you are open to trying a different style of dinning and are happy trying new flavours, then you will love Restaurant Amuse.

Went to amuse, food was reasonably priced at $125 for the degustation, customer service was fantastic, optional truffles on one of your dishes was $25 extra, but i thought was totally worth it, overall i thought amuse was the best degustation i've been to in perth in a while.

Not really for me, I think this restaurant is suited to a certain group of people. It's extremely up market, the degustation was about $190 per person but I didn't really think it was worth it, even with my discount book. There were some really nice dishes like the Amuse bouche but some of the stuff was just weird like the rabbit, coffee and lavender (???)!. It was worth it once, but I wouldn't go again. Their wine list is extensive and good quality.

Had the petit degustation on a weekday, good value especially with Entertainment Book. The food is way out! Surprising and unusual combinations, most of which are excellent, some too strange to enjoy fully. Nice atmosphere. Good wine list.

Approximate cost: $80 for petit degustation
