How fantastic is the junior theatre!! With a play area at the back halftime break and the seating is great. For us grandparents it’s a blessing

We had to cancel an online booking and Lauren could not have been more helpful. A full refund of booking fee & replacement vouches sent out. Thank you Lauren

Although labelled as a "Village" theatre with signage everywhere, you cannot use your Village Movie Card to accrue points towards a free or discounted movie. Same at the candy bar: you are unable to get discounts on combos which the VMC usually provides.

The staff are ok, candy bar staff were very polite. The seating is pretty old school and not massively comfortable. The seats need to be a little larger like in most multiplexes and the backs could also be higher.

I have always loved going to the cinema. the smell of popcorn and a huge mega sized frozen coke and your good to go. only downside are the prices. they are a little steep for my liking, makes the movies somewhat of a treat I guess. but good times anyway.

I have enjoyed going to the regent cinema in albury, its got a great vibe to it and helpful staff. Agree with previous commenter though, there needs to be better separation between the food area and the movie queues, its a bit of a mess, and the first few time I went, as a new person to town, I was quite confused.

I love the old building and it's a treat when you get to be in cinema 1, the cinemas and sound are all good. However I find that there isn't enough staff around after 9pm when the last sessions start, when you come out of the cinema there is absolutely nobody there and it is a bit unnerving. The candy bar is also overpriced.

I am not overly impressed. The main food service area needs organization and separation from the movie viewer queues mostly it's a disorganized mess of people pushing every which and way. On my last visit found absolutely no staff around to maintain the drunken stripping act displayed by feral locals in the showcase cinema. It's like after 8.30pm there are no staff around at all. We could not hear the movie above these idiots but we also had to leave when the nudity started and couldn't find a staff member to refund our money - too bad if there was an emergency and too bad it's the only cinema in the area!! Not happy jan!!

Approximate cost: $30

This review looks to be totally suspicious - we have never had any problems with "drunken stripping acts", this simply doesn't happen, and if so would would dealt with by staff immediately. I'm not sure if this review is supposed to be a joke but it does not come across as describing anything remotely like reality.

The Regent Cinema offers great service for an affordable price. The viewing screens are large for optimal viewing and the surround sound is mind blowing. Also, if you're a member of the Hume Bank you get $9.00 movies on Thursdays!

Approximate cost: $14
