Stopped here twice recently for a snack, usually the chips are dreadful at fast food places, but on both occasions Surrey Hills Red Rooster served acceptable quality chips that were cooked properly, seemed reasonably fresh and had some potatoe taste.

Overall, the food is pretty good, service is generally pretty good and conveniently located near my office in box hill. Not in the greatest location and requires a drive to purchase the food, but i think the food makes up for the effort of getting there.

not a huge fan of this place other than to eat the chips as they are likely to be fresh! there is hardly anyone in here so ordering is never a problem - staff could be a little friendlier though! you can walk over the road to the bottle shop too which is a plus

this red rooster is kind of hidden away from public transport so that's frustrating, but the food doesn't disappoint, i always get the same thing and it always tastes the same which has got to be a good thing, the service was also fine

A typical red rooster store. The service is good; there's always someone ready to take your order. The food is of satisfactory standard, I've eaten better tasting burgers and chicken at other Red Rooster stores.

great place bad location apart from being over the road from a bottle shop, they have a drive through which is pretty fast surprisingly,- the chips there are great and soo much better than maccas chips

This place sells horrible foods, the quality of the chicken isnt too bad, but they leave stuff lying around "pre prepared" and the bread is microwaved. In all this place isnt very good, however the chips arnt too bad but sadly inconsistant.
