Bought 2kgs of fresh chicken from Red Lea Chickens. It has been by far the worst quality of chicken I have ever bought. We literally couldn't taste the meat only the greasy fat despite having trimmed so much. The kids for the first time did not eat their chicken ... which has never happened in our household.
The quality of service was poor too. I spent over $20 in cash in my first transaction. When I picked my chicken the kids requested some ready to eat stuff. As I had no cash left (after all the shopping around the centre) and did not want to walk to and from the atm I offered to pay with a giftcard. The staff not only refused the payment saying I had to make a cash transaction (which I had, had she taken the time to notice me the first time around!) but she further went on top scream about about my cashless state across the shop, embarrasing me and the kids. My 8 year old was so was so upset with how the lady spoke, she apologised to me for requesting the nuggets.
Neither the incident nor the poor quality of the product will be forgotten.
