Me and my wife were staying at the oaks and came down stairs for breakfast at the red centre i ordered a "stack" of pancake as per the menu for $9 i got the plate with one burnt pancake and i said wheres the rest i was then told that a stack consist of one pancake. I laughed and left immediately.how ever if you are reading this and find yourself in the same position there is a great little cafe in the lobby of the waldorf

We had the dinner at Red Centre Steak House today, 30.09.14 and it wasn't too good experiece. The food was overcooked ( except bacon, which should be cook more properly), all deep- fried, oily and overpriced. The kids refused to eat their meals and we, the adults, just ate like half of it. The steak was chewie and overfried, the fish was testless and overfried as well. The service was, actually, fine, three waitresses :)

The meals we had here were quite nice. I found the prices quite appropriate for the meals that they brought out although we were here for lunch not dinner, maybe dinner is not such a good experience. The staff weren't overly excited to be at work but did their job.

Overall this steakhouse is quite pleasing although not in my top 5. I had low expectations to begin with due to other poor reviews but decided to give this establishment the benefit of the doubt.

First impressions were low. My partner and I approached a waitress who explained we could sit anywhere we like. I jokingly asked to sit at a large table which seated 6-8 people. To my surprise we were seated, the glass wear & plates removed. As we stretched out I could not help to notice that the table we were on could have been more useful, advantageous and profitable to a larger party.

My table had a total of 3 waitresses - I'm not sure why. The first young lady new nothing other than what was in writing on the menu, seemed uninterested and looked like as though she had 'dragged' herself to work. The second lady seemed to pick the slack up from her co-worker while the third lady was obviously a manager coming to the rescue every time I emptied a beer or finished a meal - we waiting some time between eating and paying the bill.

On a positive note - well I should call it a 'neutral note' the food was a tad better than what was expected. Entree's were expensive compared to quantity received. Main meals were reasonably priced and quite generous.

Rib-eye on the bone, jacket potato with a side of pork ribs 7.5/10.

Scotch fillet, chips and gravy 8/10

Overall, the food was nice, came out quick and most meals reasonably priced compared to other steak houses. The service needs improvement - to much contact with too many waitresses = confusion.

Recommend if your near but would not go out of my way to eat here again.

I tried to take my family to this resteraunt for my mums birthday on the 10th of nov 12. The steak my mum ordered was very poor burnt and on one side where they just turned it over so you could not see it, but it was obvious and very tough, my chicken schnitzel would have been good as there was two peices but I could not finish as it was hard ,extra crunchy abd obviously over cooked, my parners $30 rack of ribs was only half a rack in the end and undercooked so it was not finished, my daighter ate her hamburger and my dads fish meal was plain and boring, no seasoning or flavour but seemed to be cooked ,it cost approx $180 and we still needed to let them know upon payment that we were still being charged for all full meals even though it was buy one lunch special get second for $7 , my mum and I both chose lunch specials and the rest of family chose very expensive meals.

The food here is great, but it's a little expensive. It's great quality though, so if you don't mind paying a bit extra for great food then it's perfect. It's set out really nice and there's plenty of seating. The staff are great and you get served fast.

This restaurant is positioned in a beautiful spot and is lovely inside, has a great ambience. The food is awesome, although a little pricey. But in saying that it is one of my first choices when my family and I decide to go out for dinner. The menu has great variety - something there for everyone. My favourite is the Prawn & Scallop Fettucine (amazing).

We went there at the end of last year and all of the meals came out except mine. We waited and waited only to be told repeatedly it would be out soon 45 minutes later and after everyone else had finished my meal arrived. I was there again earlier this year for a function and the main meal was ordinary but the dessert was very nice.

I have been there several times for birthday dinner. The men like to eat the crocodile and emu and things they don't normally eat. The kids love to play the playstation games while waiting for their dinner. My sister loves the complimentary birthday popcorn.

Went there for lunch today. Way too expensive for the Entrance. Ordered Chicken Snitzel and Scotch Fillet off the lunch special menu. Little did we realise till we paid that oh you dont get second meal at $7.00 as its school holidays. Meals werent worth it as the schnitzel was over cooked and the scotch fillet was a very thin piece of steak. Will not be going back there again. Once we left the store, we then saw the small fine print on the signs out side about the $7. Lunch special. Not avail on Public Hols or School hols. Wish I had read this, as I wouldnt have gone there. Staff were useless as anything, didnt say much to us at all.
