This place is always packed at lunchtime. Reasonably priced-$11 for stir fries or noodles. The Pad Thai here is pretty good, generous size. The pork belly with Chinese broccoli is my favourite.

I always eat in ratee thai because it is near with my place of study in university near flinder street. This restaurant i recommend for everyone who want to eat thai food. the price maybe is not cheap but i think its worthy with taste of food. the menu food that like from this restaurant is pad thai. The noodle of pad thai is cooked very well and has great taste. although the restaurant is very busy, the service from the staff still good.

i thought the thia food was not bad, however i thought they could use a few more spices, put a little bit more taste into a few of the dishes, however cannot complain i do come regularly.

I have been a regular at Kim Sing, which is also located inside the port philip arcade, few doors down from ratee thai. Have always wanted to try Ratee thai because the place looks cleaner and seem always busy too, though not as busy as Kim Sing. Finally tried this place and glad I did. I live so close to this arcade and pretty sure will be eating at this place regularly in the future. I tried the chicken padthai special with can of coke for $11. It's great value and most importantly the pad thai was delicious. The noodle was cooked perfectly and nicely seasoned. The serving was pretty generous too.

Their dishes are delicious. the service is fast even though seats are taken at lunch majority of the time. If you want nice fast thai food, this is the place to eat at!

This for me is probably the best Thai food in Melbourne.
It's mostly lunchtime (though now open till 7)
And it's really good value. Tasty fresh ingredients, which you can combine any way, and very authentic Thai taste. Spot all the Thais eating here.
